🌟 What is Dainichi Nyorai? — The Truth of the Universe

Dainichi Nyorai, also known as Vairocana Buddha, is the most fundamental deity in Tibetan Buddhism and the source of truth for all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Its name "Dainichi" means "Great Sun," symbolizing the light of wisdom and compassion that illuminates the darkness of the universe and nurtures all life. According to the teachings of Esoteric Buddhism, Dainichi Nyorai embodies the truth of the universe itself, and all phenomena are manifestations of Dainichi Nyorai's wisdom.

According to scriptures, Dainichi Nyorai is the embodiment of truth itself, and its teachings are summarized in the core texts of Esoteric Buddhism, the "Dainichikyō" and the "Kongōchōkyō." It is said to illuminate the hearts of all sentient beings with the light of wisdom, awakening their inherent Buddha-nature, and particularly protects those who seek the path to enlightenment, those who pursue truth, and those who wish for peace of mind, granting profound wisdom and understanding of the truth of the universe. Its form is adorned with a crown, holding a dharma wheel (symbol of truth) or forming a meditation seal, expressing the order and harmony of the universe.

This pendant is meticulously crafted based on the strict guidelines of Tibetan thangka (Tangka) measurements, elegantly depicting the majestic and peaceful form of Dainichi Nyorai. Its form radiating the light of wisdom symbolizes the truth of the universe itself, serving as a precious talisman for those who pray for peace of mind, the blossoming of wisdom, and harmony with the truth.

This item employs a three-dimensional relief technique, carving the majestic features of the deity within a small dimension. Every detail, from the lotus pedestal, ritual implements, to the garments, is clearly expressed, allowing one to feel its three-dimensionality by touch.

Furthermore, it is hand-painted using natural mineral pigments. Based on the red of cinnabar, the traditional colors of thangka such as gold, green, and blue stand out, combining depth of beauty with elegance. Over time, its colors remain as vibrant as on the first day.

The surface is adorned with colored relief, making it majestic and precious, while the back retains the original texture of cinnabar, offering a delicate and moist touch. When worn close to the chest, it serves as a protective amulet for daily life, while also being an artistic masterpiece of the East that can be appreciated closely.
